Today's passage and accompanying daily devotion is centred around the act of Mary using an expensive perfume costing a year's wages to annoint Jesus.
As someone who considers themself to be not materialistic, the question I struggled with was not "What treasure would you give up for God?" (from the 'Reflect & Pray'), but "What is your most treasured possession?"
So reader, I ask the same of you:
What is your most treasured possession?
How you interpret that question is up to you.
Why does this matter?
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
