I would like to give a big shout out to The Blender Goon. I stumbled upon this person's videos whilst searching YouTube for help on creating clothes for Second Life using Blender.
Funnily enough, his first lesson to me was don't. Don't start with making clothes. It's a lot harder than it looks and if you aren't familiar with the basics (and some more advanced topics) of Blender, you're going to really struggle.
I didn't listen.
However, it didn't take me long before I became really stuck and had to eat humble pie and go looking for help from The Blender Goon. He has a very simple mantra:
"Don't ask for help with making clothes until you've built a cup, a fridge, a window, a tree and a house."
(I'll show you these as and when I finish them)
The Blender Goon has a *lot* of tutorial videos. He also has a very comprehensive Discord server and when I've been stuck he's not hesitated to join me in a voice channel to talk through my issue with screensharing. Sincerely, I can't recommend this person enough.
